Biography
Javin Felipe (he/him) is a current Master of Arts in Teaching candidate at Brown University, focusing on secondary-level physics education. As an undergraduate, Javin earned a Sc.B. in Mechanical Engineering and a secondary concentration in Critical Native American and Indigenous Studies from Brown University ’26.
Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Javin is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation and comes from the Pueblos of Acoma and Jemez. As a UPA, Javin hopes to strengthen connections between undergraduate students and the department by organizing culturally responsive events that support students across diverse backgrounds.
