Native American and Indigenous Studies Initiative
Fellowship Opportunities
A one- to two-year Postdoctoral Fellowship to support the development of early career scholars from diverse backgrounds (with particular attention to historically underrepresented groups in the academy) who show promise as innovative scholars in certain integrative scholarship areas.
The John Carter Brown Library supports scholarship centered on the history of the colonial Americas, North and South, including all aspects of African, European, and Native American engagements in both global and comparative contexts. Fellowship awards include a stipend, which varies for short and long-term fellowships.
